Who operates this site

ZynPlayr (zynplayr.com) is a personal editorial project operated by an individual, not a company: Simran Gill, 17021 100 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 1T9, Canada. Phone: +1 780-484-4411. Email: [email protected]. Simran Gill is the person responsible for the personal information described in this policy and is the point of contact for any question or request about it.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers zynplayr.com only. The site is entirely informational: it publishes reviews of free Android games and does not run user accounts, checkout flows, comment sections, or any form that collects information directly. Where this policy refers to "you," it means a visitor reading the site, not a registered user, because the site has none.

Information collected and where it comes from

Three sources of information exist for this site, and no others:

• Technical connection data read automatically by Cloudflare, the content delivery network that serves every page: an IP-derived approximate country or region, browser and device type (user agent), the page requested, the referring page, and the time of the request. This happens for every visitor to any website behind Cloudflare and is not specific to anything you do on ZynPlayr.
• One entry in your browser's local storage, written only after you click "Accept" or "Decline" on the cookie banner, recording that single choice so the banner does not reappear on the next page.
• The content of any email you choose to send to [email protected], along with the address you send it from. This is read personally by Simran Gill and is never collected through the website itself.

Purpose and legal basis

Consistent with PIPEDA's fair information principles, each use above has a specific, limited purpose: technical connection data keeps the site available, secure, and reasonably fast for every visitor; the local storage entry remembers a preference you actively expressed; and email content is used solely to read and reply to what you sent. None of this information is used to build a profile of any visitor, sold, rented, or shared with anyone for marketing, and none of it is used for any purpose beyond the one it was collected for.

Cloudflare as a service provider

Cloudflare, Inc. operates the content delivery network that serves this site and provides security filtering against automated abuse. Because Cloudflare operates a global network, technical connection data described above may be processed on infrastructure located outside Canada, under Cloudflare's own data processing terms and standard contractual safeguards. Cloudflare may also load a small, cookie-free analytics beacon that reports aggregate technical metrics such as page URL, referrer, device type, and Core Web Vitals performance data back to Cloudflare; this beacon does not set a cookie and does not identify individual visitors to ZynPlayr's operator. No other analytics, advertising, or tracking service is used on this site.

Cookies and local storage

ZynPlayr does not set any cookies of its own. The single local storage entry described above is not a cookie, is not read by any third party, and is not used for tracking. Full detail, including the exact key name and what Cloudflare may set independently, is published on the separate Cookie Disclosure page.

How long information is kept

ZynPlayr's operator does not run a server-side database, so there is no visitor record to retain or delete on the site's own systems. Cloudflare retains technical connection logs for a limited period under its own standard retention schedule, used only for security and network operation. An email you send is kept only as long as needed to handle the correspondence it relates to, then deleted.

Your rights under PIPEDA

Under Canadian federal privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information about you is held, to request access to it, to ask for a correction if it is inaccurate, to revoke consent where consent is the basis for use, and to challenge whether this policy is being followed. Because this site collects so little — and nothing at all through forms or accounts — most of these rights apply narrowly in practice, but any request will be answered directly.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, beyond the technical and local-storage data described above, which is collected the same way for every visitor.

Email [email protected] with your request. Because this is a one-person project, replies come personally from Simran Gill rather than a support team, and there is no guaranteed response time.

This policy was last updated on September 15, 2026. If it changes, the updated date at the top of this page will change to match — there is no separate changelog, and no change will be made retroactive to how information was already handled.
